Liferay’s open source roots allow us to hear the valuable input and guidance of users outside our organization, and this has been one of the reasons we’ve been so successful as a product. We want to appropriately honor the groups and individuals who have shown dedication to our platform and who have helped to make it better.
The Liferay ecosystem has an expansive open source community, which includes over 65,000 open source community members in addition to over 120 integration partners throughout the world. Liferay also continues to make valuable partnerships in other countries. It is great that they recognize that their overall success is a group effort.
